Arvid Lindblad is preparing for another step up in what has been an incredibly impressive junior career.
The Brit will be making the move to Campos Racing in Formula 2 in 2025 after completing his debut season in Formula 3 this year.
The 17-year-old, who is a Red Bull junior driver, was the youngest on the grid in F3 this year as he joined PREMA after finishing third in the Italian F4 Championship the year prior.
Lindblad got off to a flying start, winning the Sprint Race in at the season opener in Bahrain and he grabbed another podium in the next Sprint Race at Melbourne, finishing second.
The PREMA driver grabbed three more wins across the season, including winning both races at Silverstone as he finished fourth overall in the standings.
Arvid Lindblad confident with ‘strong working relationship’ at Campos Racing
Lindblad is one of two drivers who have confirmed their seats for the 2025 F2 season, as F3 champion Leonardo Fornaroli will join Invicta Racing for next season.

Following the conclusion of the F3 campaign at Monza, Lindblad has not driven a race car since then, and he will get a chance to get behind the wheel of F2 machinery at the post-season test in Abu Dhabi in December.
While he prepares with Campos for his first outing, Lindblad shared with the F2 website how he is ‘filled with confidence’ already with the team as they have acted quick to make him feel at home.
“It’s a Spanish team not Italian but they are a really strong team, a strong force, competing in so many junior formulas,” he said,
“My first experience with the team was in Baku, meeting everyone, seeing how the team work, I was very impressed on the engineering side, it was very high level. Similar to PREMA, I felt very welcomed, and appreciated at the team, there was a little bit of a family atmosphere.
“I could feel them taking me under their wing, trying to help and support me which I really liked, and that filled me with confidence for next year that we can have a strong working relationship, and we can push each other and extract the maximum performance from each other.”

Campos are well established at this level, having competed in the championship since 2005 when it was known as GP2.

The Spanish outfit won the Teams’ Championship in 2008 before they left the category and rejoined in 2014. Since then, they have achieved a highest finish of fourth back in 2015 and have finished in the top five only once since the championship rebranded to F2 in 2017.
However, Campos are enjoying great success in 2024 as they sit second in both championships. Isack Hadjar is four and a half points off championship leader Gabriel Bortoleto as the Frenchman has more race wins than any other driver with four.
With the team on a great run of form, Lindblad seems to be joining Campos at the right time and many will be eager to see how he fairs in the step above F3.
