Arvid Lindblad has become one of the first drivers to have their 2025 plans confirmed as he graduates to Formula 2.
The Brit finished fourth in Formula 3 this season, which is mightily impressive considering that he was 16 years old for all but one of the races.
He claimed four wins in the first 14 events, before suffering a disastrous end to the year and failing to finish inside the top 10 once in the final six races.
The potential is clearly more than there though, as he moves up to race for a very competitive team that will provide him the opportunity to win.

Campos Racing sit second in the constructors’ standings with three races to go in 2024, and a similar vein of form next year could see Lindblad in with a chance of becoming the youngest winner in the championship’s history.
In a press release from the team, he revealed how ‘excited’ he is to be graduating with a team that has the potential that Campos does.

“Super excited to be joining Campos in F2 for 2025,” said Lindblad. “The team has had an amazing season so far and can’t wait to start working together. I look forward to joining the long list of drivers that have raced for the team in the past and be a part of its heritage and the legacy of Mr Adrian Campos.
“The team seems very passionate, hungry and motivated to win. They’ll give me the tools and knowledge to continue to develop as a driver as we push each other to improve.
“I want to say thank you to everyone at Red Bull, the Junior Team and Campos for the opportunity. I can’t wait to get started!”
Red Bull junior passes the plate to his colleague
If the championship standings remain how they are presently throughout the final three races, then Red Bull junior Isack Hadjar would be crowned champion.
The Campos driver has been seriously impressive this season, and would no longer be allowed to compete in the championship in 2025 if he wins.
That means he will effectively be handing his seat over to a younger Red Bull junior in his place – with Lindblad inheriting a car that clearly has the potential to compete at the top every weekend.
A few of Lindblad’s Formula 3 rivals have been promoted to drives for the rest of the current season, with Gabrielle Mini driving in place of Oliver Bearman at PREMA in Baku, and Christian Mansell in place of Roman Stanek at Trident.
But neither are yet to be confirmed for the 2025 season, putting the Brit in the most comfortable spot of all three, with no further points to prove throughout the remainder of the year.
