Arvid Lindblad is heading into the final round of the FIA F3 season with the opportunity to clinch the title, but the British driver isn’t overly concerned about the championship.
The Red Bull junior has been incredibly impressive throughout his rookie season in Formula 3, taking victory in the Sprint Race at the season opener in Bahrain.
Lindblad is an outsider in the title battle as he sits in fourth place with a 16-point deficit to overturn heading into the final round.
He was fast-tracked into FIA F3 after racing in Italian F4 last year, skipping championships such as GB3 and FRECA, which present a more traditional route through the single-seater ladder.

Multiple drivers are vying for the championship as the final round of the season approaches. Leonardo Fornaroli leads the standings, holding a slim one-point advantage over his compatriot Gabriele Mini.
Lindblad has been very impressive, winning four races, including a double victory at his home race at Silverstone for PREMA.
His performances have been made even more inspiring after making a more sizeable step up than most of his competitors.
Despite his eye-catching driving while sporting the Red Bull colours, he isn’t too focused on winning the title in his rookie year.
He told Sky Sports: “I think I’ve had a really strong rookie year, definitely better than I anticipated. I think I’ve sort of shown what I can do, and I’m going into this weekend trying to bounce back after two poor weekends in Spa and Budapest and trying to finish the season on a high.
“Then obviously wherever we finish in the championship, it is what it is. Obviously, being a racing driver, I want to try and win, but I don’t think that’s the main objective.”

Red Bull has a rich history of giving chances to their young drivers. The sister team, known as RB, has been focused on promoting drivers for much of its history.
Lindblad is on the right path to Formula 1 and is doing all the right things to get closer to the highest level after his season in FIA F3.
His next logical step would be moving into Formula 2 for 2025, where Red Bull has multiple juniors, such as Isack Hadjar and Pepe Marti.
If he moves into FIA F2, the car will be a sizeable step up in power and downforce, which may not pose much of an issue after switching from Italian F4 to FIA F3 seamlessly.
