Arvid Lindblad has an outside chance of winning the FIA Formula 3 championship in the final round of the season and is ready to drive on maximum attack.
The British driver performed admirably during his rookie campaign in FIA F3 and sits fourth in the standings, just 16 points behind championship leader Leonardo Fornaroli.
Lindblad stepped up to Formula 3 after just one full season in Italian F4 and immediately ran at the sharp end of the field, taking victory in the Sprint Race in Bahrain.
The 17-year-old, backed by Red Bull, has not been affected by the added pressure of having links to a Formula 1 team so early in his career.

Lindblad is the only title contender in his rookie season, while the top three in the standings, Fornaroli, fellow Italian Gabriele Mini and Williams junior Luke Browning, are returning for a second year.
The Red Bull junior is coming back to Monza after a dominant weekend at the circuit last year in Italian F4. He won all three races in a competitive field that included Ugo Ugochukwu and James Wharton.
His season hit its peak with a double victory at his home event, Silverstone, which launched a title challenge.
Lindblad said he can take more chances than the other title contenders as they have more experience than the British driver at this level.
He told the FIA F3 website: “I am definitely going to Monza with a nothing to lose mentality. I just turned 17, I am a rookie in my second year and the people I am racing against are 19 or 20 in their fourth or fifth year, so the pressure is on them to perform.
“They are all in their second year of F3, they need to have a good result whereas for me I have already proved a lot about what I can do so far this year, and it’s going to try and reinforce that at Monza, just send it and have some fun.
“There is really no pressure on my shoulders, and just trying to have a good weekend and do the best I can, but I can definitely take more risks than the ones around me.”

After a superb season in FIA F3 for Lindblad, the logical next step for the PREMA driver is to race in Formula 2 and continue his development.
His pathway up the ladder may be easier than some other drivers as he has raced for the Italian team since the start of 2023.
PREMA will have at least one vacancy as Oliver Bearman will make the step up to Formula 1 with Haas and his teammate Andrea Kimi Antonelli is on the verge of moving to Mercedes and replacing Lewis Hamilton.
FIA F3 is often chaotic and unpredictable and Lindblad has driven well to navigate the chaos with relatively little experience.
