Lamborghini have struggled in the World Endurance Championship in their debut season in the Hypercar class, scoring points just once.
They only have one car compared to Ferrari’s three, which has made gathering data and experience over the season more difficult in WEC.
The Italian manufacturer scored 10th place at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, which is the No. 63 car’s best result of the season so far.
Lamborghini did perform admirably in qualifying last time out at the 6 Hours of Fuji in Japan, participating in Hyperpole for the first time, although Daniil Kvyat doesn’t have high expectations ahead of the season finale at the 8 Hours of Bahrain.
The 30-year-old explained via quotes from Motorsport.com that he isn’t putting a lot of pressure on the final round in Bahrain.

Lamborghini will be looking to end the season on a high at the Bahrain International Circuit after a lacklustre season.
The Hyperpole appearance last time out in Japan proved that the No. 63 was capable of having the pace to compete at the front, although they retired from the race.
Kvyat isn’t expecting a sizeable difference from Lamborghini’s performance in Bahrain compared to the rest of the season.

He said: “We did a very clean Le Mans, which was very good for the team. And now our first Hyperpole [at Fuji] because we have always been missing pace [previously]. Finally, we were really able to tick that box.
“It means we can do it and I would say what we can do with improvements. We have to bring updates and then we can fight for [the] top five and wins. I hope. That’s the goal, it’s my target.
“I don’t give discounts to anyone. I’m demanding in that respect. Of course, in Bahrain, we cannot have too many expectations. I do not expect anything different in terms of the performance package we have. So zero pressure.”
The 8 Hours of Bahrain will provide an opportunity for Lamborghini to learn ahead of 2025
The Bahrain International Circuit is a unique circuit on the calendar with a very abrasive surface, making tyre management critical.
Lamborghini haven’t been able to challenge at the front of the field but have had good reliability at times, although they retired at Le Mans and Spa-Francorchamps.
The pure pace should develop over time as they gather experience in Bahrain and head into 2025, returning to tracks they already understand.
