Laurens van Hoepen shares two-word message after re-signing with ART for 2025 F3 season

Laurens van Hoepen will embark on his sophomore season in Formula 3 in 2025 with ART Grand Prix.

The Dutchman has re-signed with the team for next season after enjoying a fairly successful debut campaign in 2024.

Van Hoepen has been with ART Grand Prix since 2022 when he debuted in FRECA. The 19-year-old competed in two seasons in the category and registered two podiums in total, with a best finish of 10th in the standings in 2023.

The Dutchman was promoted to Formula 3 with the French team in 2024 and finished 13th in the standings with 58 points.

Lauren van Hoepen is readying to go again with ART Grand Prix in Formula 3 in 2025

Van Hoepen’s maiden F3 campaign got off to a great start as he finished second on his debut in the Sprint Race in Bahrain, setting the fastest lap of the race in the process.

The Dutchman proved to have performance on the shorter format and he grabbed two more Sprint Race podiums, finishing third in Australia and Monaco.

In total, van Hoepen scored points in 11 of the 20 races in 2024, but he was outscored by both of his ART Grand Prix teammates Christian Mansell and Nikola Tsolov.

The Dutchman was one of six drivers to be confirmed on the F3 gird for the 2025 season, and he is hoping to improve on his 13th place finish this year.

Writing in the comments of the announcement post on Instagram, van Hoepen expressed his excitement for the upcoming season as he said: “Let’s go @artgp_official !!!”

Of his 11 points finishes, van Hoepen finished in the top five on five occasions, three of those being podiums.

The Dutchman grabbed his first pole position in F3 in Hungary and finished second in the Feature Race in what would have been an ART one-two finish, with Tsolov taking victory. But van Hoepen was disqualified after the race after his car was found to be underweight.

While van Hoepen finished in the points more often than Tsolov, the Bulgarian grabbed three wins to finish 11th in the standings, while Mansell secured five podiums to finish fifth in the championship with 112 points.

With his 2025 seat confirmed with ART alongside Ferrari junior Tuukka Taponen, van Hoepen will be eyeing his maiden victory in F3.
