Campos Racing have confirmed their first of three drivers for the 2025 Formula 3 season.
Spaniard Mari Boya will remain with the team next season in what will be his third season in the category.
The 20-year-old enjoyed a brilliant debut season in Formula racing, finishing second in the F4 Spanish Championship in 2020 with three wins and 14 podiums. Despite the impressive year, the championship was dominated by Kas Haverkort, who won 13 of the 21 races.
Boya spent the next two years in FRECA when he failed to register a win, before moving onto Formula 3 and Eurocup-3 in 2023 with MP Motorsport. The Spaniard struggled in the former as he finished 17th in the standings with 29 points, but impressed in the latter as he finished second behind Esteban Masson by 30 points.

For 2024, Boya moved to Spanish outfit Campos Racing in F3 and secured his first win in the championship at his home event in Catalunya in the Sprint Race.

However, like the year prior, the 20-year-old struggled for consistency, scoring points at nine of the 20 races and retiring from three of them.
Boya finished the year in 15th place with 45 points, beating teammate Sebastian Montoya but lost out to his other Campos partner Oliver Goethe, who missed the final round at Monza as he was promoted to Formula 2.
Despite a difficult first season with the team, Campos have opted to keep their faith in Boya as they sign the Spaniard for the 2025 season.
Writing in the comments section of the announcement on Instagram, Boya expressed his excitement to be in the car for next year: “WE ARE BACK”, he wrote, followed by the Spanish flag emoji.

The German was drafted in to replace Franco Colapinto at MP Motorsport in F2 for the remainder of the season after the Argentine was promoted to F1.
Goethe has endured a difficult start to his brief appearance in F2 this season, retiring from two of the four races he has competed in and finished firmly outside the points in the other two.
It is not yet known whether Goethe will go back to F3 or stay in F2 for 2025, but with Boya taking his car for next year, it does not paint a good picture for him at Campos.
