Full Oversteer looks at the head-to-head teammate battles of the 2024 Formula E grid in Season 10 from a driver’s points, wins, podiums and top 10 results in the 16 rounds.

The 2024 season saw a host of changes to the Formula E grid as the all-electric series said farewell to NIO. A new name debuted on the grid after one of the original teams rebranded again, this time as ERT. Dan Ticktum and Sergio Sette Camara remained teammates for ERT.

Lots of drivers did swap teams ahead of the 2024 Formula E season, though, with McLaren signing Sam Bird to partner Jake Hughes. Nick Cassidy took up the Briton’s vacated spot for Jaguar, while Robin Frijns returned to Envision Racing after he and ABT Cupra split company.

Being unceremoniously dumped from Formula 1 by Red Bull junior team AlphaTauri in 2023 also saw Nyck de Vries return to Formula E with Mahindra. He took up Roberto Merhi’s seat, while Edoardo Mortara joined from Maserati – who brought in Jehan Daruvala for his debut.

ABT, meanwhile, re-signed Lucas di Grassi, who won the Formula E title with the team back in 2016/17. Oliver Rowland also returned to family surroundings as he re-signed for Nissan, forcing Norman Nato out. So, Nato joined Andretti in 2024 as Andre Lotterer left Formula E.

So, with that in mind, Full Oversteer has taken a look at the Season 10 head-to-head battles that the 2024 Formula E teammates registered across 16 rounds, featuring races in 10 cities.

Jaguar signed one of the top drivers on the Formula E grid to become the new teammate of Mitch Evans in 2024 with Cassidy joining from Envision Racing. The New Zealand native had finished the 2023 term second in the drivers’ championship to Jake Dennis, with Evans third.

Together, the Kiwi teammates would also help Jaguar win the 2024 Formula E teams’ title by 36 points over Porsche. But a chaotic season finale at the London ePrix saw Pascal Wehrlein of Porsche win the 2024 Formula E drivers’ title by six and 22 points over Evans and Cassidy.
