Felipe Drugovich enjoyed a successful junior career, winning the FIA Formula 2 title at the end of the 2022 season.
The Brazilian driver had a lot of momentum behind him but he has been unable to find a drive in Formula 1 or in any other championship.
Drugovich has been a reserve driver for the Aston Martin F1 Team and the Maserati outfit in Formula E, but he has failed to race for a full season.
He has proven he is a very capable racing driver and is looking to become a full-time competitor in the 2025 season.
Drugovich explained when speaking to the Motorsport Brasil YouTube channel that there is one championship in particular that Drugovich is looking at ahead of the new season.

IndyCar has become increasingly popular with younger drivers who didn’t quite make it to Formula 1 despite impressive junior careers.
Callum Ilott is returning to the championship with PREMA after two seasons with Juncos Hollinger Racing came to an end in 2023.
Christian Lundgaard also moved to IndyCar and is being rewarded with a move to Arrow McLaren in 2025 after multiple good years with Rahal Letterman Lanigan.
Drugovich completed a test at Barber Motorsports Park for Chip Ganassi Racing and explained he is looking at IndyCar for the 2025 season.

He said: “Looking at next year, I think it’s one of the opportunities we are studying as they said they changed the regulations so each team will have a maximum of two of three cars, in the case of Ganassi there are three.
“All three are already confirmed so we are looking at this test, something that was already foreseen last year. It ended up not happening due to scheduling and it ended up happening this year. it was a really cool opportunity to insert into the American world.”
Felipe Drugovich has some options in IndyCar ahead of 2025
Drugovich completed his test in Alabama with CGR, but that team has two confirmed seats, Alex Palou and Scott Dixon, and Kyffin Simpson is likely to take the third seat.
This means the Brazilian driver will have to look elsewhere for a seat, as teams can have a maximum of two or three cars next year due to the charter system.
Drugovich may have an opportunity at PREMA who are looking for a teammate to partner Ilott in one of their two Chevrolet-powered cars.
Juncos Hollinger Racing also has two seats available as there is still uncertainty over the futures of Romain Grosjean and Conor Daly who finished the season for the team.
