The final race of any IndyCar season is always special, throwing up special appearances, goodbyes, championship fights and one-off specials.
This year’s Music City Grand Prix hosts a return to the Nashville Superspeedway after 16 years away from the venue.
The oval circuit has only been competed on by one of the three championship protagonists in Will Power, making for a thrilling conclusion to the season.
The last few oval races have all been absolute crackers, but attention now turns to what will be the final IndyCar event for nearly six months.
Juncos Hollinger’s stunning new liveries turn heads
Juncos Hollinger Racing recently climbed onto the podium for the first time in their seven-year history in unlikely circumstances with Conor Daly.
It was an incredible result for the team, who have just shocked fans even more with the introduction of two new liveries for Nashville.
“Beautiful, let’s have that first win,” one fan wrote about Romain Grosjean’s pink colours.

One fan combined the fire and trophy emoji’s after the words ‘This looks’ – hinting that he would like Grosjean to pick up a first Juncos podium this weekend.
“Need more of these for next season,” could be a reflection of both the Juncos livery and podium they achieved at the last round of the season in Milwaukee.
“@ConorDaly22 is gonna look good with this one for the finale,” wrote a fan admiring the black and grey theme.
“Men will see this and just think ‘hell yeah’,” according to one final fan, who particularly admires Daly’s new look.
Who will drive for Juncos Hollinger in 2025?
The Argentine-American outfit has offered a contract to Grosjean for 2025, but he hasn’t made a decision on it yet as he mulls over some other offers.
Daly’s performance has been somewhat surprising, but indicative of the team’s improvement over the course of the season.

He has managed to jump into a completely alien car and be up to speed straight away, clipping the heels of Grosjean at most events.
It makes him more than a dark horse candidate for a seat with them next year, but he has emphasised the importance of funding and that there is a risk he may be forced out of the team due to the lack of it that he brings.
It would be a huge shame, but if they do so, it would be equally great for the team to bed some young talent into the sport like Louis Foster or Jacob Abel – who have proven their value in Indy NXT.
