Logan Sargeant is searching for his next challenge following his sacking in Formula 1.
The 23-year-old became the first American to race full-time in F1 since Scott Speed in 2007 when he signed with Williams from Formula 2 in 2023.
Sargeant had a torrid debut season, scoring just one point all season at his home race in Texas. That point would turn out to be his only point in his F1 career as 2024 was no better.
The American suffered multiple accidents that set Williams back huge amounts. After his crash at the Dutch Grand Prix this year, James Vowles pulled the plug and brought in Franco Colapinto to replace Sargeant for the remainder of the season.
After just 36 Grand Prix starts, Sargeant is now looking to find his next race seat as he hopes to get his career back on track.
Logan Sargeant spotted with Andretti at the Music City Grand Prix
One place the American could go is back to familiar surroundings in IndyCar, and Sergeant may have sparked some rumours about him joining the series this weekend.

In a post on their X account, Andretti Global shared a picture of Sargeant talking with Colton Herta at the 2024 season finale at the Music City Grand Prix.
A move to IndyCar could be good for Sargeant to get some results on the board, but if he is to join the series, it will not be with Andretti, or with a top team for that matter.
Andretti look set to retain Herta, Kyle Kirkwood and Marcus Ericsson for 2025 in what is a strong driver line-up capable of regularly winning races.
With Chip Ganassi Racing and Penske also boasting top drivers in their squad, Sargeant will most likely have to move to the midfield or even further back if it is to move to IndyCar next season.

Alex Palou is on course to win his third IndyCar title
The Music City Grand Prix at the Nashville Superspeedway marks the end of what has been a tense and competitive IndyCar season.
Alex Palou leads the championship over Will Power by 33 points heading into the race as the former looks to grab their third IndyCar title in four years and his second in a row.
The Spaniard has won two races this season and grabbed six podiums so far. Coming into the final race, Palou finished fifth in the first race at the Milwaukee Mile, but down in 19th in the second race.
With Palou still yet to win on an oval course, Power will be looking to take advantage and finish ahead of the Spaniard for what would be his third title.
