Santino Ferrucci has confirmed his 2025 IndyCar seat as he signs a contract extension with A. J. Foyt Racing.
The American, who has been with the team since 2023, has signed a multi-year deal to keep him at A. J Foyt into 2025 and beyond.
Ferrucci has displayed some solid performances throughout his IndyCar career, particularly with his current team. The 26-year-old recorded his best result to date with his first and only podium at the Indianapolis 500 in 2023, finishing third.
Ferrucci scored his first ever pole position at Portland this season, which marked A. J. Foyt’s first team pole in a decade, with the last coming at the second race at Belle Isle in 2014 with Takuma Sato.
Now, the American will remain with the team long-term, and he is already raring to go for next season.

Posting on his Instagram account, Ferrucci expressed his excitement about having secured his future in IndyCar: “Back for more with @ajfoytracing in 2025.”

Ferrucci’s contract extension completes A. J. Foyt’s driver pairing for next year, after the team confirmed the signing of David Malukas on a multi-year deal back in August.
A. J. Foyt have a great history in IndyCar, but have fallen on hard times in recent years, with their last coming from Sato in 2013 at Long Beach.
The team have scored just three podiums since then, with Ferrucci scoring one of them at the Indy 500 last year.
But with the American’s performance this season, A. J. Foyt are a team on the up, and with Malukas also impressing at Meyer Shank Racing having recovered from a broken wrist earlier on in the season, it creates an exciting driver line-up for the team in 2025.

Santino Ferrucci is eyeing a top 10 finish in the championship
As the 2024 IndyCar season enters its final race at Nashville Superspeedway, Ferrucci is looking to secure a top-10 finish in the championship.
The American is currently sat 10th in the standings with 339 points, 38 points ahead of both Christian Lundgaard and Felix Rosenqvist.
Ferrucci recorded his best finish of the season last time out at the Milwaukee Mile, finishing fourth in both races.
The 26-year-old has only finished outside the top 10 five times as he looks to continue that momentum in 2025, in what could be an exciting year for A. J. Foyt.
