Bagnaia made his MotoGP debut in the 2019 Grand Prix of Qatar for Pramac Racing but had to retire after nine of the 22 laps. The Turin native later secured his first premier-class race win at the 2021 Grand Prix of Aragon during Bagnaia’s first season as a factory Ducati Corse rider.
