MP Motorsport have confirmed their second driver for the 2025 Formula 3 season.

Spaniard Bruno Del Pino has been given his promotion to Formula 3 by the team for next year. The 18-year-old has been competing in Eurocup-3 with the Dutch outfit for the past two seasons.

Del Pino began his single-seater career on home soil as he debuted in Spanish F4 and finished 16th in the standings. That year, he also took part in the Motorsport Games F4 Cup, finishing third.

The 18-year-old moved up to Eurocup-3 for the 2023 campaign with MP Motorsport, where he finished seventh in the standings, scoring points in all but two races with a best finish of fourth at Zandvoort and Circuit Ricardo Tormo.

In 2024, Del Pino competed in the Formula Regional Middle East Championship, where he struggled to find results as he finished 16th in the standings with 18 points.

While this finish was disappointing heading into his second season in Eurocup-3, the Spaniard put that firmly behind him as he finds himself third in the championship heading into the season finale at Catalunya.

Del Pino stands a chance at winning the title, as he sits 36 points behind championship leader and fellow countryman Javier Sagnera, with Christian Ho sat 28 points behind him in second.

Before the round takes place in November, MP Motorsport have already confirmed Del Pino to race with the team in F3 next year, with the announcement receiving praise from supporters and fellow race drivers alike.

On his Instagram account in the comments of his post about the news, Del Pino received a message from former F1 driver Giancarlo Fisichella, who wrote: “Forza Bruno!” followed by a flexing arm emoji.

Tim Tramnitz will be hoping to go better in his second season in Formula 3 next year

Del Pino will race alongside Tim Tramnitz in 2024, as the German embarks on his sophomore year in F3 with MP Motorsport.

Tramnitz finished the 2023 season in ninth place as the best of the three MP drivers. The 19-year-old grabbed four podiums across the year, including his maiden win in the Sprint Race at Monza.

A member of the Red Bull junior team, there is a lot of expectation surrounding the German, with Helmut Marko stating that Tramnitz is a ‘serious candidate’ for F1.

MP Motorsport are yet to confirm their third driver for 2025 alongside Tramnitz and Del Pino, but the Dutch outfit will be hoping to challenge regularly at the front in the new F3 machinery.
