The Formula E grid is very close to being completed, and it features some top talent, such as reigning champion Pascal Wehrlein as well as former Formula 1 driver Stoffel Vandoorne.
Formula E is incredibly competitive and is home to a multitude of manufacturers, such as Porsche and Maserati, battling in the all-electric series.
There are limited seats available on the grid for next season, which kicks off in November with the Sao Paulo ePrix.
Chinese outfit ERT struggled last season, accumulating just 23 points and failing to score a podium finish over the season.
They had the experienced driver lineup of Dan Ticktum, partnered by Brazilian driver Sergio Sette Camara in Formula E.
ERT may not race with both drivers next season as there is uncertainty over the lineup before the season opener in Brazil.
Sacha Fenestraz was an option for the Chinese team after being replaced at Nissan by Norman Nato, but the Argentinian may not race for ERT next season.
Sacha Fenestraz is now unlikely to join ERT in Formula E for the 2024/25 season
Fenestraz didn’t score a podium finish over his two years at Nissan but finished fourth twice at Monaco and Jakarta in Indonesia.
The Argentinian was consistently on the fringes of the points and went on a run of four consecutive points finishes from Misano to Berlin.
Fenestraz did hold discussions with ERT, but those talks have broken down as Sette Camara is on the verge of signing a new contract, according to The Race.

The 25-year-old scored his first Formula E points at the Diriyah ePrix towards the start of the 2022/23 season but failed to consistently finish in the top 10 over his two-year stint.
Nissan’s former driver has very limited options to stay in Formula E for another year as ABT Lola Yamaha has picked up Zane Maloney.
Sacha Fenestraz has already driven in single-seaters and GT cars
If Fenestraz’s time in Formula E were to come to an end, it would be the final stages of a two-year stint in single-seaters.
He has also driven in GT cars during his career, competing in Super GT in Japan in 2022, taking a victory at Fuji alongside Ritomo Miyata.
This experience in both single-seaters and GT cars may allow him to have a wider range of options if he needs to look outside of Formula E for a drive.
