Jake Dennis is eagerly anticipating the upcoming Formula E season after failing to defend his title in 2023/24 for Andretti.
The British driver scored just one win all season in the first race of the Saudi Arabia doubleheader. He also struggled at the iconic Monaco Grand Prix track and the season finale in London.
Dennis even finished seventh in the Formula E standings after scoring no points in the final round of the season, ending a difficult year.
Despite some rounds where he failed to deliver results, Tokyo yielded third place before he drove to a couple of second-place finishes at Misano.

The off-season heading into the 2024/25 Formula E season is relatively short, with the first round kicking off on the 7th of December in Brazil with the Sao Paulo ePrix.
Testing with the brand-new car is expected to begin in November, ahead of the new campaign, which sees the Monaco ePrix become a doubleheader and Jakarta in Indonesia return to the calendar.
Dennis hasn’t driven the new car yet, but he is already looking forward to returning to the Formula E paddock in Brazil. He is also pleased to see that Formula E has slashed the length of the off-season, given the Briton’s disastrous title defence.
He said via RacingNews365: “It won’t be difficult to forget about this season. It’ll be pretty straightforward, but I’m excited to drive the new car.
“I haven’t done a test yet, I think my first test is in August. So I’m glad it’s a short off-season because last season was a very long off-season which is nice.
“But this year, we’re straight back into it pretty quick, first race in December so not much time to dwell and just refocus and come back better for Sao Paulo.”

The new Formula E car is set to be an impressive machine, accelerating from 0-60 in just 1.82s quicker than its predecessor and a Formula 1 car.
The Gen3 EVO is expected to have more grip from improved Hankook tyres and will be made from 35% recycled materials, a significant step up from the current car.
The Gen3 car was draggy, creating races with little overtaking as drivers sat in the slipstream of the cars in front, saving critical energy.

Dennis’ 2023/24 season had incredible highs, such as his win in Saudi Arabia, but he struggled with setbacks throughout the year.
A mistake in qualifying at the season opener in Mexico and a point-less doubleheader in London cost the 29-year-old valuable points in the title battle.
Monaco was a weekend to forget after a left-front wheel nut failure occurred during a pit stop in qualifying before suffering damage to his front wing.
The British driver may also have a new teammate as Frenchman Norman Nato may leave Formula E ahead of Season 11.
