Nico Muller has become the latest driver on the Formula E grid to secure his seat for Season 11 in 2024/25.
The Swiss driver will race for Andretti following his departure from ABT at the end of Season 10, as the all-electric series moves to the Gen3 Evo era.
Muller has had a successful racing career outside of Formula E, winning the 24 Hours of Nürburgring for Audi in 2015 and finishing runner-up in the battle for the DTM title in 2019 and 2020.
The 32-year-old also competes in the World Endurance Championship alongside co-drivers Mikkel Jensen and two-time Formula E champion Jean-Eric Vergne for Peugeot, currently sitting 19th in the standings after five rounds.
And Muller now gets to add another historic accomplishment to his career as he joins one of motorsport’s most prestigious names for 2024/25

The 2024/25 campaign will be Muller’s fifth season in Formula E as he makes the move to Andretti from ABT.
The Swiss driver joined the series in 2019/20 with GEOX Dragon Racing and stayed with them for the following year in 2020/21 when the team rebranded to Dragon / Penske Autosport. Muller scored his only podium to date in Formula E with the team at Valencia that year.
Following the Monaco ePrix, Muller left the Dragon setup, being replaced by Joel Eriksson and he returned to the sport for the 2022/23 season with ABT, where he spent the last two seasons.
For Season 11, Muller will partner Jake Dennis at Andretti, who has been with the team since 2020/21 and won the Season nine championship over Nick Cassidy.

And speaking in a team release, Muller shared that working alongside his new, championship-winning teammate is an ‘honour for him.
“I’m very excited to join the Andretti Formula E team,” he said.
“It’s a team that has seen success from the very beginning of the Championship, particularly in the GEN3 era in their partnership with Porsche Motorsport. To work with Jake, a former World Champion, is an honour, and I’m looking forward to the opportunity.
“I’m going to give it my very best to contribute to the team’s success and hopefully aim for some podiums and my first Formula E win – that’s the target. I can’t wait to get going.”

With Andretti already having a Formula E champion in their line-up in Dennis, they have also recruited a driver on the rise up the standings as Muller comes off his best finish in the series to date.
Partnering former Formula E champion Lucas di Grassi, Muller went scoreless for the opening four races before finishing seventh in the inaugural Tokyo ePrix.
At the second race in Misano, the 32-year-old achieved ABT’s best result since they returned to Formula E in 2022 with fourth, missing out on the podium to Cassidy by less than a tenth of a second.
Muller ended the season strong with top six finishes in the last four races to finish 12th in the standings with 52 points.
