Sacha Fenestraz is looking for a new beginning in motorsport. After a two-year stint with the Nissan Formula E Team, he lost his drive.
The Argentinian driver wasn’t spectacular in the all-electric series and failed to score a podium finish but did have moments of brilliance.
Fenestraz scored a best finish of fourth place twice in his first full season in Monaco and in Jakarta, but there was rarely a sense of momentum in Formula E.
Norman Nato has replaced the former Nissan driver at the Japanese manufacturer, and Fenestraz is unlikely to return to Formula E after talks stalled with ERT.
The 25-year-old explained when talking to the Corazon De F1 YouTube channel that he has multiple options for the 2025 season.

Fenestraz has had a varied career so far in motorsport, with experience in a multitude of different single-seaters as well as Super GT in Japan.
He has been successful across a range cars, and he won the Japanese Formula 3 Championship and the Argentinian also raced at the front in Super Formula.
Fenestraz explained that he has multiple options for 2025, including returning to Japan and entering the Hypercar class in the World Endurance Championship.

He said: “For now nothing that can be confirmed, obviously there are options, we have to analyse which ones are the best.
“Obviously, there is the option to return to Japan. There are other options, also possibly in Hypercar in WEC, so we really have to analyse what we want.
“As I tell you, the good thing is that we have options. We have to choose. We have to sit down and analyse what is the best option. We’ll see from here in a couple of months. I hope to be able to announce something.”

The World Endurance Championship is becoming much healthier as a series, with more manufacturers joining the grid, creating more opportunities for drivers.
Aston Martin are joining the championship from next season and none of their drivers have been announced yet.
Other Argentinian drivers such as Jose Maria Lopez and Nicolas Varrone have had success in WEC and at Le Mans.
Fenestraz has proven he can compete at a high level across multiple types of cars which could prove to be valuable experience next season.
