Adrien Fourmaux has established himself as a consistent frontrunner in the World Rally Championship this season.
The Frenchman has broken free from only scoring top-10 finishes in WRC and is challenging for podiums and rally wins.
In the World Rally Championship, the level is very high. This leaves little margin for error if the goal is to win the title.
Fourmaux has begun to score podium finishes despite M-Sport Ford languishing consistently behind their rivals Toyota and Hyundai.
Despite Fourmaux’s improved performances and podium finishes, he has an uncertain future ahead of the 2025 season.
He told the WRC YouTube channel which teams have offered him a contract and another that may not be interested in having him as a driver.

Fourmaux has been very competitive on various surfaces this season, taking third place amongst the snow of Rally Sweden and the gravel in Kenya.
This is very important in the World Rally Championship, as consistency is key in a campaign to challenge for the title.

Fourmaux is still deciding his future ahead of next season, and a strong end to the year will help him get a more competitive seat.
He explained that M-Sport Ford still haven’t offered him a contract extension for next year, while Toyota and Hyundai are showing interest.
The M-Sport driver said: “I got the offer from Hyundai, I still have the one from Toyota. I’m still waiting for one from Ford. I’m still waiting on their part. Guess they don’t want to have me.”
Hyundai may be the best option for Adrien Fourmaux next season
Hyundai have been very competitive this season, leading the Manufacturers’ Championship ahead of Hyundai with one round to go.
Fourmaux is not interested in signing for Toyota as the Japanese manufacturer only offers the Frenchman a half-year contract.

Hyundai may be a better option as they are ready to sign Fourmaux for a complete season, giving the Frenchman more security.
For now, though, Hyundai are very much focusing on Rally Japan as either Thierry Neuville or Ott Tanak will take the WRC title.
If Fourmaux were to accept Hyundai’s offer, he would join a competitive team that knows how to win rallies and titles. They could provide the next step for the Frenchman after his consistent year in the top five.
