Full Oversteer has taken a look into the full World Rally Championship field for 2025 with every WRC team’s confirmed driver line-up for the expanded 14-round season.
Question marks hung over the WRC like a gloomy cloud during 2024 with each team looking for new drivers. Only Hyundai and Toyota entered the 2024 campaign knowing they had one driver line-up each tied down for 2025, when the WRC adds three new rallies to its calendar.
Doubts have even grown extensively about whether Hyundai has a future in the WRC, which the Korean manufacturer also did not ease with their driver line-up decisions. While the FIA and the WRC also abandoned plans to potentially axe the Rally1 plug-in hybrid powertrains.
Those engines will now charge around the expanded 14-round WRC calendar which includes a snow-based, four asphalt and nine gravel rallies. The Canary Islands, Paraguay and Saudi Arabia join the schedule for 2025. The Monte Carlo Rally remains the WRC’s season opener.

M-Sport Ford 2025 WRC driver line-up
At the time of writing, M-Sport Ford are still yet to confirm any driver for their 2025 line-up.
Hyundai 2025 WRC driver line-up
- Ott Tanak and co-driver Martin Jarveoja
- Thierry Neuville and co-driver Martijn Wydaeghe
Hyundai faced uncertainty about their driver line-up for the 2025 WRC season through 2024 as only Ott Tanak was under contract. The Estonian returned to the manufacturer on a two-year deal after spending 2023 with M-Sport Ford – making Tanak’s long-term future a doubt.
Questions also linger over the future of Thierry Neuville as the Belgian only agreed to a new, one-year contract with Hyundai for the 2025 WRC season in September 2024. He was set to be a free agent after 2024, but Neuville signed up to take his time with Hyundai to 12 years.

Toyota 2025 WRC driver line-up
- Kalle Rovanpera and co-driver Jonne Halttunen
The 2025 WRC season will see two-time champion Kalle Rovanpera return to a full-time seat at Toyota beside co-driver Jonne Halttunen. Toyota agreed to let the Finn contest a part-time campaign during 2024 after he agreed to sign a new, multi-year contract in November 2023.
