Arvid Lindblad performed admirably in his rookie FIA F3 season, finishing fourth in the championship after stepping up from Italian F4.
The British driver will graduate to F2 for next season with Campos Racing, and Red Bull team principal Christian Horner explained in the FIA press conference that Lindblad is one to watch.

Horner has overseen a lot of talent emerging from the Red Bull junior programme during his time with the team.
Liam Lawson is performing well at RB after patiently waiting for his opportunity, and the New Zealander could be a contender to race for Red Bull in 2025 if Sergio Perez continues to underperform.
Lindblad has ascended the junior ladder, adapting quickly to new circuits and performing at a high level on the road to F1.

Horner has been very impressed with Lindblad. He will be looking to compete at the front in F2 next season, returning to many of the tracks he’s raced on.
He said: “You know, Arvid is definitely a talent for the future. I think that he’s got the right attitude. He’s got the right approach and determination.
“And certainly what we’ve seen in some of his racing, Silverstone in particular this year, you know, he’s a very talented driver. So only time will tell how good he is and how far he can go.”
Arvid Lindblad could be a contender in Formula 2 next season
Lindblad stepping up to Formula 2 for 2025 is the logical next step in his career, and the championship can be difficult for rookies.
The car is more difficult to drive than in FIA F3, but he will return to a lot of circuits he has raced on previously, which should help Lindblad adjust.
He has adapted well in his career and proven he can dominate a weekend, as Lindblad did with his double victory at Silverstone.
If he performs in F2 next year, it could open doors to Formula 1 at RB or another team ahead of 2026, when F1 introduces new regulations.
